HSB Bostad develops Växeln with a strengthened procurement structure

As residential projects grow more complex, the demands on structure in both planning and execution increase. In the Växeln project in Stockholm, HSB Bostad AB has chosen to actively work with procurement strategy as a tool to ensure quality, cost control, and progress. Coreco has supported key parts of the project’s execution related to structure, facade, and installations.

How we supported the project

  • Conducted procurement of structural, facade, and installation contracts
  • Ensured structure and commercial rigor in the procurement process
  • Supported the project organization in supplier dialogue and contracting

HSB Bostad AB is one of Sweden’s leading residential developers, focusing on new production of sustainable housing. The company manages complex projects in attractive locations and plays a central role in developing the urban living environments of the future.

The Växeln project encompasses several technically complex elements where coordination between structure, facade, and installations is critical to both schedule and cost. In projects of this kind, boundary issues between contracts frequently arise, placing high demands on clear procurement processes and well-developed contract structures.

Coreco took an operational role in project procurement, focusing on creating clarity and competition in the tendering processes. Through structured processes and active dialogue with the market, the project was given the right conditions in critical parts of execution. The result is strengthened control over both cost outlook and delivery, contributing to a more predictable project outcome.
