Supplier Strategy for Batteryloop

Batteryloop develops and sells energy storage solutions based on new and used batteries, suitable for use in both real estate and logistics centres. The company was founded in 2017 as a subsidiary of Stena Recycling and is planning for rapid growth in the coming years.

  • Workshop

Batteryloop develops energy storage systems based on reused vehicle batteries. Its solutions are installed, for example, in real estate assets where they are charged with solar energy and used as an energy resource. The company has ambitious growth targets and aims to deliver more than 100 installations within three years. Read more about Batteryloop here.

To achieve these targets, rapid development of both delivery capacity and partnerships with capable parties able to take responsibility for installation and commissioning is required. As a young company, Batteryloop needed to establish structure, shared processes and a clear approach to how delivery and installation should be carried out at scale.

Coreco was engaged to work together with Batteryloop to develop a supplier strategy that supports the company’s pace of expansion. The work included mapping delivery and installation flows, identifying the required capabilities and establishing a shared understanding of the scope of each project. The strategy enables Batteryloop to scale its operations in a flexible and efficient way with the right partner structure in place.
