For each project, a procurement strategy is required that balances time, quality and total cost. Vattenfall’s project portfolio means that the appropriate contracting model must be selected at an early stage and procurements must be carried out in a structured manner to ensure competitive agreements. In addition, suppliers must be reviewed, evaluated and negotiated in a way that creates long term value.
Coreco works proactively together with the project management team to determine the appropriate procurement and contracting model and to create the best possible conditions for each project. We provide support throughout the entire process, including needs analysis, supplier due diligence, tender evaluation, supplier selection and the execution of negotiations. Where required, we also contribute by introducing competition and ensure that the final outcome is an agreement that delivers value for both parties.
Our primary contribution lies in our industry expertise within construction and civil engineering, including experience in construction procurement, preparation of tender documentation in accordance with AMA, construction law, and public procurement regulations such as LOU and LUF. Our consultants also contribute with structured knowledge transfer, strengthening Vattenfall’s long term procurement capability.
