Stockholm Exergi is responsible for one of Sweden’s largest energy facilities and delivers projects ranging from refurbishments to advanced systems for district heating and operations. The investment of approximately SEK 1.5 billion is divided into several main contracts, requiring a clear structure, an appropriate contracting strategy and well adapted contractual terms. The project spans multiple technical disciplines, which means that procurement processes must be designed to suit each individual system. To avoid risk and ensure an optimal outcome, every choice of contract, pricing model and specification must be carefully developed and well anchored.
Coreco has managed the entire procurement process, from tender documentation through to contract execution. We have supported the selection of contract form, pricing model and requirements, ensuring that the terms are relevant for each specific procurement. Our consultants have also led procurements in related projects, including roof refurbishments, pumping stations, ship unloading systems, cooling water intakes and control rooms. Through close dialogue with Stockholm Exergi’s specialists, we have assessed the implications of different procurement options and identified solutions that deliver robust and long term sustainable contracts.
