IP-Only builds and operates fibre networks across Sweden and relies on an efficient and professional procurement function to ensure quality, capacity and long term development. The organisation works with both contractors and suppliers who play a central role in the expansion of the infrastructure.
IP-Only needed to strengthen its procurement function through clearer processes, improved methods and more effective follow up of suppliers and contractors. Achieving this required ways of working that support continuous improvement, provide stronger control and ensure that contractors deliver at the required level of quality and performance. There was also a need to further develop collaboration with key suppliers in order to strengthen relationships and joint development capability.
Coreco has carried out several assignments together with IP-Only and developed the procurement function on multiple levels. We have contributed to an extensive transformation programme focused on processes, methodology and initiatives that support continuous improvement. We developed a methodology for contractor classification as well as tools for monitoring performance and quality. In addition, we conducted supplier development with key contractors, work that is closely aligned with Coreco’s core approach and strengthens both relationships and joint innovation capability.
