An investment programme of this scale, spanning ten years, places high demands on structure, collaboration and predictability. Rikshem required a strategic model that enables scalable production, reduces rework in individual projects and creates stable delivery conditions. Achieving this required both a clear strategy and the procurement of long term framework agreement contractors.
Coreco supported Rikshem in developing a strategic model for industrial housing production and establishing a ten year framework agreement. The work focused on defining objectives, evaluation criteria and collaboration models that enable scalable delivery, reduced project rework and long term, predictable production capacity.
Coreco carried out a strategic collaboration with Rikshem, developing a model for industrialised construction collaboration and procuring contractors under long term framework agreements. The work established the foundation for an efficient and repeatable production process. In 2020, the first projects based on the strategy were launched, including the Morkullevägen project in Umeå, delivered by JSB within the framework agreement.
